Terms of Service

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use 8ake for a business, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
• Give accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• If you sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to that sign-in.

What we do

You give us a site's URL. We build a listing from your site, which you can review and edit, and our AI agents submit it to directories in your plan using a browser, creating an account on each where needed. Every account uses an email alias and password we generate, and its login is shown in your dashboard.

You authorise us to submit your listing, create those accounts, and receive and act on directory emails on your behalf. Directories are run by third parties. They decide whether to accept, publish, edit or remove a listing, and their own terms apply to it. We don't control their sites, their link attributes (such as nofollow) or their traffic, and we don't promise any search ranking, traffic or sales.

Your site and content

• You must own or be authorised to promote every site you add, and have the right to use its name, logo, screenshots and text. You keep ownership of them and give us a licence to use them only to provide the service.
• Your site and listing must be lawful and honest. We may refuse or stop work on sites with illegal, adult, gambling, malware, misleading or infringing content, or that a directory's rules don't allow.
• Check the listing details before submissions start. We submit what's in your listing.

Plans, payment and the guarantee

• Plans and Listing refresh are one-time payments. Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout and are processed by Stripe.
• Each plan guarantees a number of live listings within 30 days of your site's details being ready. When a directory rejects or removes your listing, we submit to the next one in line until you reach that number. Listings waiting for approval for more than 21 days stop counting toward it.
• If we haven't reached your guaranteed number after 30 days, email us. We'll keep submitting at no extra cost or, if you prefer, refund the share of your plan price for the listings we didn't deliver.
• Upgrades cost the difference between plans and add only directories your site hasn't been sent to.
• Keep listed is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from "Manage billing" in your dashboard; it stops at the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds

Because submissions start soon after payment and can't be undone, we don't refund a plan once submissions have begun, except under the guarantee above. If you paid but no submissions have been made yet, email us for a full refund. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law.

Your listings and logins

The directory accounts we create are yours. You can see and download their logins at any time and change them. If you change a password without telling us, refreshes and rechecks on that listing may fail. Each directory's terms govern your account there, including keeping it.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse 8ake: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's accounts or data, reverse engineer it, resell it without our permission, or use it to send spam. We may suspend or close accounts that do, or that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Closing your account

You can stop using 8ake and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Listings already published stay on their directories, and you keep their logins. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

Disclaimers and liability

Apart from the guarantee above and rights you have by law, the service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for what third-party directories do, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using 8ake after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction, without removing any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
